This place was AWFUL!! I took my 2 chuldren there who one is in elementary & and the other a toddler there for a fun on a rainy day. I was in disbelief on how this library is managed and maintained. The staff was some of the most rudest ladies. When I asked to speak to who was in charge, I was able to speak with the “director”. As I spoke with the director about my concerns she had the most uncaring, stuck up, i dont have time for you attitude and smelt like a smoke pit. When I went to voice my biggest concern which was when I was entering the building a staff member (who I now know was the director) and a town worker were blocking the entrance blowing cigarette smoke into the entrance as we passed. There public display of affection was absolutely disgusting and I covered my kids faces and hurried past. I have live in Vonore for all my life and I am embarrassed and ashamed to call this my HOMETOWN LIBRARY!!! I will never be back!!!
