While the employees have been friendly, my issue is with the billing. First off...it cost 450.00 bucks to get the power turned on. Second...even when I'm not using the power, my bill is sky high. It's crazy! My heat went out this month so I used the fire place. I never use much electricity at all anyway. Yet my bill is 419.34. Impossible I say!!! Are the meters even checked? Or do they just slap an amount they deem appropriate for that month? I am so angry over this! How can they get away with such a thing? Yet we are only told that we have to pay or else....
A horrible company. Out for money and that's it. Pay your electric bill and they still cut it off. Ridiculous
Something really needs to be done about this place. Having to deal with a crook is bullish*t, regardless how they dress it up.
They wouldnt have any business if there was another electric company around. My light bill has always been a steady $70 and thats with electric heat. Now that ive switched to wood heat I have a $211 bill even with having one of the warmest winters i can remember.
My family has had a wonderful experience with this company. We have been very happy with all customer service (both for billing and for actual power and electric issues). Getting our power turned on, when we first moved into this area, costed a tiny bit more than we were used to, but it was worth it. We have been good about paying our bills on time, and after two years, the activation fee gets applied to your account. Recently, a line was down and wrapped around another line on our road. The service team was polite and helpful. Many people don't realize how important the linemen crews are until there is a storm or an outage. But they are very important.
My power goes off regularly. Usually for a couple hours in the morning when I try to get ready for work. This happens least every couple weeks since I moved into my place in the summer like clockwork. Their billing system is dated, with fees still getting added on the day you make your payment that show up on the next bill. When I move again, I won’t live in a location that requires their business.
